Role Overview:

As a FAA Production Coordinator , you'll play a critical role in aligning production schedules with customer demand, maintaining smooth workflow across teams, and ensuring timely product delivery. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) : Engage in planning processes to ensure alignment between production plans and demand forecasts.

• Master Production Schedule Management : Develop and manage the production schedule, optimizing resource use while meeting customer expectations.

• Materials Planning : Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and ensure materials are available for production.

• Cross-functional Coordination : Work closely with quality, engineering, and planning teams to address production challenges, implement engineering changes, and maintain product quality.

• Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives aimed at process optimization, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.

• Factory Floor Interaction : Be a strong presence on the factory floor, monitoring progress and addressing production issues in real time.

• Risk Management : Identify potential risks to production schedules and proactively escalate and resolve issues.

• Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• ERP System Updates : Regularly update ERP system to ensure accurate production orders and material availability.

• Supplier Coordination : Ensure timely delivery of materials and collaborate with suppliers to meet production deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in production planning or a related role.

• Strong understanding of production planning principles and methodologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Excel and Access .

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills .

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience in the aerospace industry or a related sector.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles .

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills .

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
