Description

We are seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney to join our client's law firm team in Phoenix, Arizona near the Biltmore. This role will be crucial in supporting our client's legal team handling cases involving DUIs, felonies, and misdemeanors, as well as using your skills in case management, document management, and briefing. This is an in-office position with some capacity for remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Handle criminal defense cases, including DUIs, felonies, and misdemeanors.

• Utilize case management software to organize and manage legal proceedings.

• Prepare and present defense cases, using your skills in criminal law.

• Use Adobe Acrobat and Conveyancer in the preparation and management of legal documents.

• Handle client complaints, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed professionally.

• Utilize your knowledge in civil litigation and claim administration to effectively represent clients.

• Conduct briefings to explain legal situations and options to clients.

• Maintain accurate records using document management systems.

• Stay updated with current developments in criminal law to provide informed legal advice.

• Ensure all actions comply with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in criminal law, specifically in defense

• Proficiency in using legal software such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and Conveyancer

• Experience in document management and briefing

• Knowledge and experience in civil litigation and claim administration

• Proven track record in complaint handling and consumer electronics

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong research and report writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

• High ethical standards and professionalism

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Must be willing to continue learning and improving legal skills.
