Overview

Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities

Performs administrative and secretarial support for Faculty Staff within the Medical Group with minimal supervision.

  • May coordinate work of other office support staff.

  • Assists with recruitment and training of staff; volunteers needed for clinic.

  • Assists with front office staff as needed (check in/phones/medical records/batch reports, work files, etc)

  • Coordinates meetings, prepares minutes.

  • Assists with development and revision of program materials, manuals forms, policies procedures as required.

  • Communicates with manager regarding clinic issues in a timely manner including but not limited to staffing performance, operational issues.

  • Organizes maintains files, protocols, records.

  • Assists with preparation and presentations, spreadsheets, compliance reports, etc.

  • Answers phones promptly.

  • Executes initiative on behalf of administrator to answer call appropriately and returns messages within 24 hours.

  • Orders supplies and equipment tracking expenses as appropriate.

  • Processes documents and letters promptly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

High School Diploma / GED required

Minimum of two (2) years administrative support experience

PREFERRED

2 years medical office support

Pay Range

$18.00 - $24.66 /hour
