Job Title: Civil Project ManagerJob Description

As a Civil Project Manager, you will manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from initial concept through final design, construction, and start-up. You will oversee an engineering team in the production of construction documents for various facilities, ensuring quality control, schedule adherence, budget management, and oversight of plan production. Your role will also involve preparing construction documents, including plans, reports, and technical specifications, as well as coordinating with team members, private utilities, municipalities, consultants, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects from initial concept through final design, construction, and start-up.

• Oversee an engineering team in the production of construction documents for water booster pump stations, water storage facilities, groundwater treatment facilities, groundwater wells, sewer pump stations, reclaim water systems, and water and sewer mains.

• Ensure quality control, schedule adherence, budget management, and oversight of plan production.

• Prepare construction documents, including construction plans, basis of design reports, and technical specifications.

• Prepare water and wastewater planning and engineering documents in support of land development and site development projects, including hydraulic models and studies of water and wastewater systems.

• Coordinate with team members, staff, private utilities, municipalities, consultants, and clients.

• Manage project billing, project proposals, and client satisfaction.

• Provide construction phase engineering support in the form of submittal reviews, RFI responses, engineer-of-record services, and startup and commissioning support.

• Delegate work and provide technical guidance to ensure design is technically sound and cost-efficient.

• Process plans and resolve issues with plan reviewers.

• Work closely with the design team.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.

• Must have a P.E. license in the state of AZ or be able to transfer the license to AZ.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with water/wastewater projects, outside of water or wastewater treatment.

This is a fully onsite position with a schedule from 8am-5pm.
