How will you make an impact in this role?
Solution Design and Development. Performs all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including:
Developing prototypes utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts.
Writing new code and API's.
Perform hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems.
Function as a member of an Agile team and helps drive consistent development practices - tools, common components, and documentation.
Typically spend >70% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of time collaborating with stakeholders through ongoing product/platform releases.
Perform unit and assembly testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit and assembly tests.
Conduct code reviews and builds test automation.
Drive Engineering Excellence Principles and track metrics.
Debug software components, identifies, fixes and verifies remediation of code defects.
Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and simplify Architecture.
Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation.
Prepared to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
Generate creative ideas and solutions.
Keep up to date on current research and technology in the industry.

This position is approved for applicants across all Business Units.
12 years of software development experience, and preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technical disciplines.
12 years of hands-on industry experience in designing and coding applications leveraging C#, ASP .NET, .NET Core, .NET framework, REST, SQL and other related Microsoft technologies
At least 10 years’ experience working in an Agile (Scrum, SAFe) team with working knowledge of agile processes and ceremonies
Proven track to define Microservices leveraging Rest principles and convert monolithic application to Microservices or Components
Knowledge of Big Data, Kafka, React JS, Couchbase, MongoDB and other innovative and emergent technologies preferred
As the Senior Engineer on the team, the applicant will need to handle any Technical issues that are beyond the capability of the other members of the team.
Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
Hands-on experience in leveraging CI/CD processes (Jenkins, XLR, Maven etc.)
Good Understanding of Internal and Public cloud technologies. Proven work experience /professional certifications are a plus.
Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms.
A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software.
Ability to proactively support colleagues and collaborates with them to help achieve targets.
Proven Recognition of the importance of teamwork to achieve objectives.
Hands-on expertise with application design, development, and automated testing
Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to present complicated technical solutions to stakeholders.
