This position serves as the | | | primary video and photo director | | | for the university providing | | | oversight to multimedia projects | | | including, but not limited to: | | | commercial storyboarding, filming | | | and editing; coordination of | | | campus photography; presidential | | | and advancement video projects | | | for social media and email | | | distribution; video and voice | | | editing. The Videographer must be | | | able to conceive, film, produce, | | | and edit short and medium range | | | videos for a variety of different | | | purposes successfully using the | | | brand of the University. | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Essential Duties | - * Develop video content for | | | marketing and advancement | | | purposes at the University. | | | - * Ensure that there is | | | current, vibrant, and | | | poignant imagery for the | | | University to be able to use | | | for web, design, marketing, | | | and other purposes. | | | - * Schedule photography for | | | events and other purposes. | | | - * Storyboard, film, produce, | | | and edit short and medium | | | range videos consistent with | | | the La Salle University brand | | | and that foster recruitment | | | and fundraising efforts of | | | the inst tution. | | | - * Serve as a creative leader | | | within the Marketing and | | | Communications divisions. | | | - * Assist with the creation | | | of content for social media, | | | email, and commercial | | | distribution. | | | - * Film and edit multiple | | | video projects as needed and | | | produce within a designated | | | timeline | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Secondary Responsibilities | - * Manage special projects | | | and/or serve on committees as | | | requested by the VP and/or | | | Director of Marketing. | | | - * Assist with key University | | | events as needed | | | - * Performing other related | | | duties as assigned | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | # of Direct Reports | 0 | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Required Qualifications | - * | | | BFA / BA or related degree | | | - * Must have 4-7 years of | | | video and editing experience | | | - * Strong conceptual and | | | critical thinking skills | | | - * Proficient in video | | | editing software | | | - * Ability to work | | | independently to meet | | | expected deadlines and | | | schedules. | | | - * Excellent interpersonal | | | skills and the ability to | | | work within a creative team | | | and across a diverse | | | university setting. | | | - * High comfort level in | | | using technology to optimize | | | workflow and business | | | processes. | | | - * Knowledge of and | | | commitment to the mission of | | | La Salle University | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Preferred Qualifications | - * Exceptional skill in the | | | use of Adobe Creative Suites | | | - * Demonstrable skill in | | | print, digital and animated | | | design | |
