Accenture Supply Chain and Operations – Fulfillment – Transportation/Warehouse Management Consulting Senior Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This role can sit anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office

You are:

As the Fulfillment – Transportation/Warehouse Consulting Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our consulting team and driving excellence in Warehouse Management/Transportation Management practices for our clients. You will be responsible to provide strategic guidance, manage client engagements, and deliver solutions that unlock Omnichannel capabilities for our clients.

The work:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Transportation Management/Warehouse Management consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and objectives.

  • Develop and Industry leading Fulfillment, Logistics, Warehouse Mgmt., Transportation Mgmt. solutions to optimize unlock and optimize capabilities, streamline business processes, drive customer experience improvements and improve overall operational efficiency.

  • Develop comprehensive roadmap to enable Fulfillment capabilities in areas such as: Inbound Transportation, Outbound Transportation, Reverse Logistics, Visibility, Last Mile, Global Trade, Network Optimization, Network Design, Warehouse Design & Automation, Warehouse Operations & Planning, and Labor Management related activities for our clients.

  • Define tangible Fulfillment, Warehouse, Logistics, and/or Transportation KPI’s and metrics, strategies to measure and optimize them for our clients.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing Fulfillment systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies.

  • Oversee the implementation of Warehouse Management and Transportation Management related solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budget constraints.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in order management and leverage this knowledge to enhance our consulting offerings

  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Fulfillment, Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, consulting or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully leading client engagements and delivering measurable results.

  • In-depth knowledge of Fulfillment leading practices, processes, and systems, including 4+ full lifecycle implementations on one of the following TMS/WMS platforms – Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a leadership role and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.

  • Minimum of 6 years experience working in a consulting experience

Bonus points if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and effectively convey complex concepts.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
