Job Description/Essential Functions:

Horizon House, Inc. is a nationally recognized provider of services to adults with support needs due to developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, and substance abuse. Horizon House is Pennsylvania's oldest psychiatric rehabilitation agency. Since 1952, we have been dedicated to helping people with mental illness, drug and alcohol addictions, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and homelessness to stabilize their lives and to help them live as independently as possible in the community. With over 100 locations throughout South and North Eastern Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware, Horizon House provides services to a diverse population focusing on individual strength and choice. We are seeking a full time Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of client service in the community; advocates for individual rehabilitation, growth and development options and to implement rehabilitation service plans and recommend adjustments to established support systems.

Responsibilities include the following:

To oversee the activities of Project REACH which will target individuals struggling with substance use disorders who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. To ensure compliance with all applicable contract regulations and Agency policies and procedures. Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Program, to ensure a safe, secure, healthy and pleasant environment in compliance with funding source and licensing requirements. Coordinate and review required program documentation, logs, and reports; ensure documentation is complete, accurate and processed on a timely basis; submit special reports, as assigned. Participate in the analysis and identification of service delivery gaps, changes and problems, under the guidance of the Regional Director and implement appropriate action plans. Oversee petty cash account for expenses; monitor overall program monies in compliance with budgetary parameters; participate in the development of annual budget, with Regional Director.

Job Qualifications:

A successful applicant will be have the following: A master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, rehabilitation or a related field and at   least 5 years' experience in the MH field; a minimum of 3-4 years of supervisory/management   experience. Licensed as CAADC is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Detail oriented; highly organized. Very good communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Scope:

Frequent talking and listening. Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with clients. Must be available for local travel. Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. May require crisis intervention to emergency situations. Possession of a valid driver's license. May be required to carrying a phone and responding to after hour emergencies.
