Job Title: Sr Global Pharma & Biopharma Marketing Manager
Group/Division: Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG), Microbiology Division (MBD)
Position Location: USA, (East Coast) or Europe (UK or Germany or Switzerland) - Remote
Pharma & Biopharmaceutical sector for Microbiology testing is a $1.3B market segment conducting critical microbiology tests from development to commercialization for small & large drug molecules. This critical role will work across cross functional teams within the microbiology division and the wider Thermo Fisher organization to partner with our customers and commercial organization in providing domain expertise and to build strong partnerships with our customers to help solve their key challenges in microbiology testing. The ideal candidate will also develop marketing activities and increase the brand awareness of the microbiology portfolio in the Pharma and Biopharmaceutical sector to drive growth and meet revenue aspirations for the division.
What will you do?
Drive commercial accountability to grow the business aggressively according to our ambitious growth objectives
Work with key customers & the commercial organization in providing domain expertise to solve their needs in microbiology testing
Deliver marketing programs focused around the microbiology portfolio to pharma & Biopharma customers globally to drive opportunities & meet our growth aspirations
Define the strategy & coordinate activities across a network of regional commercial teams in close collaboration with corporate accounts & channel partners
Deliver account-based marketing (ABM) programs to targeted accounts in the pharma & biopharma segments to grow the lead & opportunity pipeline
Run collaborative seeding programs to develop fit for purpose customer outcomes
Own & develop an innovative product pipeline to strengthen our market value proposition
Plan and execute multidimensional marketing plans across key Targeted regions
Collaborate with customers & opinion leaders to bring their stories of success to a worldwide audience
Provide the voice of the pharma & biopharma customers to product management & marketing teams to ensure the needs are fed into the development of new solutions & marketing campaigns
Provide accurate business analysis reports to make data-driven decisions
Build customer facing presentations & sales training content to support sales enablement
Work with Channel partners to drive revenue and marketing campaigns
Bachelor's degree in business or sciences required
Extensive years of Industry experience and domain knowledge in pharma & biopharma
Experience working in a Global & / or Regional teams
Excellent oral & written communication skills including making impactful presentations
Broad experience & expertise selling & promoting through formal/informal networks within multiple segments of the market
Strong experience in Account Based Marketing
Proven track record of high revenue achievement, strong financial acumen, sound negotiating experience
Proven success working with or selling to decision makers in a scientific setting
Experience in developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns to drive opportunity pipeline and brand awareness
Willingness to travel (25-35%)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams
Ability to listen and influence across teams (without direct authority)
Tenacious and driven to succeed
Strong skills and proven ability to adapt style to different situations and people
Must have an outstanding attention to detail and strong process rigor with continuous improvement mindset
