Clarivate Analytics (US) LLC Senior Account Manager- Life Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 128591-1 We are seeking a Sr Account Manager, for our Life Science & Healthcare division. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Life Science and healthcare division. This role requires a dynamic self-starter who can network and manage relationships across many different functions and levels at Pharma/Life Sciences organizations of different size. The territory is made up per local region of a predefined number of existing Clarivate Life Sciences and Healthcare clients.

As a Sr Account manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective account strategy through collaboration. You will lead the coordination with various Team members in regional locations, the product specialist team, the customer retention team, the customer success team, and the solutions and consulting team. You will be a strong communicator to both senior management and scientific end users with an ability to clearly articulate an in-depth understanding of our products, platforms, data solution, and services capabilities and its associated value for the client organization.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments *Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience *Minimum of 7 years of experience selling solutions (information, technologies, services) into life sciences companies. *Experience of selling to life sciences, specifically to pharmaceutical and/or medical device.

It would be great if you also had . . . *Experience selling to C-level executives *Heads of Research & Development, Commercial, Launch Excellence, Market Access, Clinical and Regulatory, Procurement *Granular knowledge and understanding of the Drug Development & commercialization business and its key drivers, able to present an appreciation of the competitive landscape of the life sciences sectors

What will you be doing in this role? *To achieve/exceed annual Sales/revenue plan *To develop and maintain strong pipelines *To maintain existing and ensure the renewal of existing contracts *To grow revenues from within existing accounts *Extend the level of relationship to the C-Suite to become a trusted partner. *Prepare and lead account planning which includes an organization profile, an analysis of revenues, relationship profiles for contacts, SWOT analysis, Challenges, goals & needs - white space. *Present account strategy to the global account team *Define and execute the regional action plan *Devise overall strategy for each assigned "lead" account, with the help of the other support functions (Marketing, Product Management, CSD, etc). *Chair regularly scheduled account development meetings with peer and Executive Committee to develop account awareness within organization.

About the Team Our LS&H vertical consists of pharma clients that subscribe to and acquire various Clarivate solutions including cutting edge workflow tools, data analytics and insights that are essential for advancement of innovation, R&D and Commercialization in Pharma & Biotech communities. They facilitate discovery and development of new medicines, protection of IP as well as supporting our client's efforts to bring these drugs and devices to market.

Hours of Work This is a remote position based anywhere in US This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone Travel as needed to client sites, team meetings, conferences

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position is $120,000 - 145,000 USD per year plus commissions of an additional $80,000-100,000 USD.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
