Summary: The Research Associate in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's Pulmonary/Critical Care/SleepMed department assists in the coordination of the research activities in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The Research Associate works with a team including a Research Nurse or Sr. Research Associate and the Principal Investigators to support various research activities. Performs other duties as assigned. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: *Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse constituent population. *Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. *Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex problems requiring in-depth technical knowledge *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Ability to work independently and in a team environment. *Ability to travel to off-site locations that may not be accessible via public transportation. *Ability to work evenings/weekends hours as needed. This position requires a background check. This is a grant funded position. Please note this position will work on-site.
