A Microsoft Partner consulting firm is helping businesses leverage technology to achieve their goals. They specialize in cloud computing services, data analysis, and building modern applications. Their services can help businesses move existing systems to the cloud, develop data-driven insights, and create user-friendly software.

They're looking for a team of Azure Devops Architects to join a project working with their leading financial services client. You'll work closely with their developers to elevate their Azure cloud infrastructure and address identified technical gaps. This is an opportunity for senior engineers with a strong systems background and deep expertise in DevOps and Terraform. You'll be instrumental in building frameworks from scratch to deploy services within Azure, such as Service Bus, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Event Hub, and more. Additionally, you'll leverage your knowledge of CICD pipelines to automate deployments and infrastructure management using Python or PowerShell.

This is a fully remote 12 week contract position with likelihood it will be extended as they continue to identify opportunities of improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ YOE in Systems, Devops, or Similar

• Previous experience architecting an Azure cloud environment

• Expert level skills with Terraform

• Experience or familiarity with Azure services such as Service Bus, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Event Hub, Redis, Azure VMs, etc

• Experience building CICD pipelines

• Strong scripting skills with Python or PowerShell

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work with many different types of personalities

• Terraform Certification preferred

• Azure Certifications preferred

What You Will Be Doing:

• Collaborating with teams of developers to improve cloud infrastructure.

• Automating Deployments and infrastructure

• Leveraging Terraform to build Azure services

• Use expertise to identify areas for improvement and make suggestions to end client

• Be an advocate for devops best practices
