Motion Recruitment Partners React Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Contract | $50-55/hr | Philadelphia,PA

This financial institution has a team of full stack and back end engineers that are working on a configuration management system. They are looking to hire a Front-End Engineer to complete their team. You will be the front end expert for this team, working with JavaScript and TypeScript. The back end is built in Java, so the manager would like this front end developer to have previous experience in a Java environment. The ideal candidate is going to be working in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, GraphQL and have at least 6 years of professional experience. This is a 6 month contract with a strong possibility of being extended. The position is based in Philadelphia and will be remote for the next 6 months.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years experience in front end engineering

  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js

  • Experience with GraphQL

  • Experience with Redux

  • Comfortable collaborating with other engineers

  • Prior experience in a Java environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

    Desired Skills & Experience

  • Prior Java experience

  • Prior Spring Boot experience

  • Prior AWS experience

  • Competitive Pay: Up to $55.00/hour, DOE

  • Contract Duration: 6 month with opportunity to be extended or converted
