Temple University Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Under the direction of the Chief of Staff and Associate Vice Dean for Strategic Initiatives (COS-AVDSI), the Project Manager will play a crucial role in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's strategic planning efforts. Housed in the Dean's Office, this position entails collaborating with the Dean, senior leadership, Dean's staff, various departments/centers and workgroups to drive transformative projects in line with the institution's strategic framework. From conceptualization to execution, the incumbent will collaborate across departments, ensuring the successful launch and long-term management of high-priority initiatives critical to the School's strategic goals and objectives. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of project management experience or related experience working in a university setting. Masters preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: *Ability to undertake, balance, and manage multiple tasks and assignments. *Ability to think strategically and creatively and excel in a fast-paced environment. *Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. *Availability to work extended hours and occasional weekends as needed. *Computer proficiency with all Microsoft Office. *Be a self-starter and able to work independently. *Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.

Preferred *Knowledge of best practices, industry standards, and current trends related to effective strategic planning and organizational improvement. This is a hybrid position (on-campus and remote).
