Salary: Up to $65K

Duties:

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance market exposure. Actively pursue opportunities to deliver value-added services and negotiate effectively.

  • Oversee program operations, including inventory and stocking strategies to optimize support for contracts.

  • Ensure adherence to program budgets and recommend necessary annual adjustments.

  • Plan and prioritize facility workflow to ensure timely inventory flow aligned with customer specifications and shipping deadlines.

  • Supervise department staff to deliver exceptional customer service and foster teamwork. Set and direct team goals and objectives.

  • Provide strong managerial support and guidance to facility teams, offering clear administrative guidelines, work instructions, policies, and procedures.

  • Coordinate training on AS9100 requirements and Quality Work Instructions, ensuring compliance and supporting process improvements.

  • Encourage and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Address and resolve promptly any communication failures or process deficiencies.

  • Ensure compliance with document controls, processing, recordkeeping regulations, and Wesco policies.

  • Uphold customer on-site policies and compliance procedures as well as Wesco policies.

  • Conduct supervisor performance evaluations and identify coaching needs, approving employee wage changes and promotions in accordance with policies.

  • Analyze workflow, time, and labor reports to recommend organizational and process improvements.

  • Manage on-site facilities, equipment, and maintenance to ensure cleanliness, security, and organization.

  • Engage with customers' auditors as required to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.

  • Attend company-sponsored meetings and management training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (may include sales, distribution, and inventory management

  • Supervisory experience is required

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service/real-time problem-solving strategie

  • Strong process management and process improvement skill

  • Aerospace industry product knowledge advantageous

  • Experience utilizing computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite tools.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management/distribution processes

  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 product distribution environments and expectations

  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret statistical workflow and time & labor data to produce profitable results.
