The Cigna Group Product Owner Senior Advisor (Client Reporting) - Hybrid in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Summary

The Client & Health Plan Trend Analytics Product organization within the Sales & Provider Analytics is entrusted with key business relationships and understanding the various personas who use our products. The Product organization articulates and measures the value enabled by the Analytic products we manage for our partners in the Data & Analytics Engineering organization.

The Senior Business Product Owner (BPO) is customer focused and acts as a conduit between the Sponsor and the Design and Delivery teams, The BPO is accountable for the business value enablement of the solutions delivered by the teams and signs off on the delivery and the quality of the product. The BPO also partners with the Analytics and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in relation to methodology, calculations, and content; partners with Ops Readiness and Customer Success to ensure end user preparedness; and manages the Product Scorecard and publishes key metrics and updates for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as “voice of the customer,” ensuring that the highest value work is being delivered to meet customer needs and deliver incremental value

  • Facilitates conversations with the business to understand needs for solutions and enhancements; drives discussions and recommends requirements based on best practices

  • Asks key questions to ensure understanding of the business expectations including data sources, reference data, calculations, logic, etc.

  • Works with the business to identify and track early indicators that the Product/ solution is meeting the need as well as lagging indicators that prove business value was delivered

  • Reviews Test Plans with the TPO each sprint, ensuring that they include detailed scenarios to test prior to delivery

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Agile experience as a Product Manager/ Experience Owner responsible for performance of a product including operational and outcomes metrics

  • Must have a strong analytical mindset and excellent analytics and reporting acumen including experience building reports or completing data analysis related to trend management

  • Demonstrated product mindset with the ability to problem solve, collaborate, and deliver business value in an iterative fashion

  • Experience in a healthcare client sales environment is preferred

  • Experience with Jira or Rally for documenting project requirements

  • Experience building use cases based on expected value, estimate costs, measuring results post-implementation is required and roadmap creation and management

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects strategically and simultaneously in an ambiguous environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required; individual must be polished and professional, and have experience interacting with senior leadership in a highly matrix organization

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 107,300 - 178,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
