Ballard Spahr has an immediate need for a highly organized, detail-oriented Trademark and Copyright Paralegal. The selected individual will handle large volumes of work associated with each client. This position can be located in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, or Minneapolis and is remote, with in-office time upon request.

Your Role:
As a Trademark and Copyright Paralegal in our Intellectual Property Department, you will:
Prepare, file and prosecute foreign and domestic trademark and copyright documents;
Record trademark and copyright assignments;
Communicate with international counsel about trademark enforcement matters;
Perform trademark searches; maintain and review the IP docket;
Prepare and file domain name applications and renewals;
Draft correspondence;
Perform factual investigation and summarize information for attorneys and clients; and
Accurately capture and record time entries on a daily basis.

Required Experience:
A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate and previous law firm experience preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience intrademark prosecution is required. Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, Access,Anaqua and/or WebTMS and other data entry applications and programs. Solid interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility for overtime a must.
