About Our Unit This positon will oversee two units and manage two programs. Telemetry Unit (B1). This unit has 10 beds, located at Methodist Hospital. This unit has a Acute Care for the Elderly program. Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit (B6). This unit has 22 beds, located at Methodist Hospital. This unit has a Migraine/Headache program that provides inpatient treatment. Methodist Hospital is Magnet recognized. B1 has recieved the AACN Beacon Award for excellence, the Age Friendly Certification, and is NICHE Certified. They have also been honored with the Team Daisy Award.B6 has received the PRISM Award and a Team Daisy Award Schedule Committment: Full Time Day Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm No weekends Responsibilities

Manages human, financial, and other resources needed to facilitate daily practice operations and patient care. Responsible for all training, staff competency, and independent evaluation of staff to ensure total and effective service provision to patients, staff, and physicians.Supervises the caliber of treatment and care of the patients.

Participates in strategic clinical planning activities for the practice including specific goals and objectives that support the institutions strategic plan.

Accountable for managing the department budget.

Facilitates a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care. Qualifications

Masterrsquo;s Degree in Nursing; Nursing Administration preferred

Experience overseeing programs preferred

State Issued RN license

Five (5) years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice
