SUMMARY:

The resource is responsible for all the activities and resources that are (or will be) part of the Diagnostic Service Tower (DST) for the in-service fleet.

 

Responsibilities

Key accountabilities of the role are reported below, main interactions are with:

• CS&S / PSE 

• Engineering / D&D areas mainly regarding reliability topics

• Procurement & Program management functions

• Flight Simulation (interaction should be developed in the next future)

Key Accountabilities:

• Create, maintain and update the databases needed for the monitoring of the in-service fleet (civil and military) operational data (i.e. flight hours, fleet availability figures) and the Full Flight Simulator "operational data".

Examples of applications are (not limited to): in service Fleet Flight Hours availability and Full Flight Simulator availability, to support business functions (e.g. PSE/Engineering / Material planning / Marketing / BU / CSAM / Simulation and Training) to perform their own proper analysis. 

• Create, maintain and update the databases needed for data analysis on reliability data for all Products leveraging where applicable on predictive capabilities.  

Examples of applications are (not limited to): MTBUR calculation, Failure & "hard limits" forecast, Remaining Useful life probability & forecast, component life tracking, create the capability for pre alert on maintenance stops. 

• Evaluate potential cross correlation of different data sources to develop advanced data analytics to support business function analyses

• Provides forecast modelling potential futures scenarios leveraging on the service fleet and Full Flight Simulator "operational data" databases supported by Advanced analytics and Labs function. Those forecast will be provided to all relevant functions, for their specific needs and further analysis.

• This is a new project that is being launched in AWPC, therefore during the set-up of the DST the resource will be responsible to manage and support in the coordination with all the involved functions (ie., but not limited to: DST Italy, Enterprise operations, PSE) to grant an on-time and on-budget deliverable.

• This role is responsible for managing the resources that will onboard the DST later on, is responsible for budgeting activities and reporting to the  CS&S organization in AWPC and to the functionally responsible  organization in in the DST in Italy.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering (Aeronautics/Mechanics/Electronics) or equivalent industry experience and background

• 5 years' minimum experience preferably operating in an Engineering / Production / Maintenance / Simulation & Training based business.

• Basics of descriptive and inferential statistics theory

• Digital basis competencies (MS suite, CRM, Power BI); basic Skills in Python or equivalent coding languages is recommended

• Proficiency in English

• Availability to travel abroad occasionally

• Collaboration & Team work

• Customer orientation

• Problem solving attitude

• Previous internal experience within LH Engineering or CSS&T is a plus.
