University of Pennsylvania Management Department: Lecturer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Department of Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania seeks to hire full-time or part-time lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. We are looking for candidates to teach Family Business. Lecturers will teach courses on the University’s campus in Philadelphia, PA. The initial appointment term is for no more than 2 years.

In addition to their teaching role, lecturers will have the opportunity to be part of the Department’s research community, including attending department seminars, along with potentially collaborating with department faculty and doctoral students.

Note that lecturers are not eligible for tenure, and do not have voting rights in the department or the school. The position may be renewed based upon the needs of the department.

Candidates are expected to have a deep knowledge of family business management and relevant academic domains. Further, as excellence in teaching is the primary criteria for this position, applicants must have outstanding communication skills, along with an interest in teaching undergraduate and/or MBA students. Applicants must have a degree from an accredited institution; Ph.D. is preferred.
