Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including but limited to washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers
Performing preventive/predictive maintenance
Performing various welding activities
Performing boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments
Resolving safety concerns; maintaining inventory supplies
Preparing maintenance records
Monitoring work performed by inside and outside service companies
Responding to emergency alarms;
Working from instructions and downtime log to provide immediate response to maintenance problems; troubleshooting, evaluating, repairing and testing equipment quickly in order to minimize downtime
Working closely with operators and being aware of operator-related equipment problems; performing required preventive maintenance duties on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis per specifications on all assigned equipment or as directed
Using diagnostic functions when troubleshooting electrical/electronic problems and making necessary repairs; and performing special projects and other duties for personal development as assigned.
Will work on conveyors and boilers
Must have electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting & repair experience
PLC & VFD is a plus
