Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Philadelphia PA 19114

Type:6 Month Contract to Hire

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm OR 3rd Shift Monday-Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am

Start: Immediate

Overview:

Leading food manufacturing company in Philadelphia Pa is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! 5 years experience with electrical, mechanical and industrial maintenance are encourage to apply. Be apart of groundbreaking work!

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and installing all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Locate and repair all items necessary

• Performing inventory and stock checks for required materials, parts, and equipment

• Collecting and analyzing data for written reports

• Attending daily meetings and scheduling training workshops where required

• Sourcing replacement parts and liaising with vendors

• Controlling downtime by communicating with staff and implementing contingency measures

• Ensuring all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations.

• Assisting with training of all new hires

• Support operations and the company in any facet necessary

• Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude

• Other duties as assigned

  Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Mechanic

• Experience or training in Mechatronics a plus

• Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting (food, pet food, or pharmaceutical a plus)

• Come from a food manufacturing background.
