Unisys Corporation Logistics Sales Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics industry at existing clients. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting and networking. Solution Selling: Understand the unique challenges and pain points faced by logistics companies. Effectively articulate the value proposition of our IT solutions to address these challenges and meet customer needs. Consultative Sales: Take a consultative approach to sales by conducting thorough needs assessments and providing tailored solutions to prospects. Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and objectives to deliver customized proposals and presentations. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their logistics processes through technology. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Coordinate with internal teams, including solution architects and implementation specialists, to deliver seamless and successful implementations. Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and market penetration within the logistics IT sector. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the logistics IT market. Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. Mentors: teaches, and shares best practices with others. #LI-BC1

You will be successful in this role if you have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Logistics Management, or related field. MBA is a plus. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling software or IT solutions to logistics companies. Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
