RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems
You will work closely with our IT and security teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop security protocols, and implement necessary measures to safeguard our systems and data
The successful candidate will work directly with our government client and lead team members to:
Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect our information systems and data
Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and recommend corrective actions
Monitor network traffic and system logs for any suspicious activities or potential security breaches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security measures in all stages of system development
Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate and mitigate security breaches, and develop incident response protocols
Stay informed about the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvement
Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on security principles, policies, and procedures
Work closely with external vendors and partners to ensure the secure exchange of information and adherence to security standards
Assist in the investigation and resolution of any security-related incidents or violations
Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
3+ years of practical experience in any Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Engineering (T&E), or A&A related field
3+ concurrent years of experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirement Guides (SRGs)
Practical experience using the following Information Assurance tools:
DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university in Computer Science or any technical information technology field
CompTIA Security+ CE
Requires a Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship
Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:
Attending mandatory, annual training sessions
Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations
Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
Attending recurring team meetings or huddles
Assisting in the development of new initiatives
