Job Title: Financial Analyst

Depart m ent/Group: Accounting & Payroll

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Reports to: Finance Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

PCI is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our site finance team! The Financial Analyst is responsible for accounting and analytical functions with strong focus on maintaining the site ERP System to provide accurate financial data, production report, spending variance analysis, sales analysis, financial reports, and month-end closing documents. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will work with management to better manage the business and to maximize profits. This position will play a key role in our efforts of continuous improvement of PCI processes and information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be

assigned.

  • Assist in financial reports and analysis that support site operations, including production reports, job costing analysis, monthly expenses by department versus budget, headcount, as well as real time financial reports, as requested.

  • Responsible for overseeing the processing of sales invoices and credit memos ensuring accurate invoicing to customers.

  • Supports the accounts payable area.

  • Daily analysis of manufacturing variances and JDE integrity reports. Work with appropriate resources to resolve data integrity issues.

  • Calculates site cost savings projects

  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.

  • Review product costing, roll and upload in JDE and ensure accuracy.

  • Supports procurement, scheduling, operations, estimating, sales, and data management.

  • Assists in the monthly close process including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet

  • reconciliations.

  • Helps to report timely and accurate financial results.

  • Completes monthly sales, profitability, and financial analysis.

  • Assists in the site fiscal year budget preparation.

  • Track inventory levels and help maintain cost information.

  • Participant in annual review of SOX controls and maintenance of proper internal control system.

  • Assists in the development, adaptation or revision of accounting systems to meet the needs of the site.

  • Participates in all site external and internal audit requirements.

  • Participates in compliance with financial policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 1-5 years related experience and/or training.

  • College Level Mathematical Skills

  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to performmore complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.

  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.

  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • High Standard of Report Writing

Preferred:

  • Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires.

  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

  • Experience in all facets of finance.

  • Ability to work effectivelywith multiple levels across a highly cross- functional team including operations, customer service and IT.

  • Strong communications, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.

  • Proactively identify issues and develop solutions that span several functions and management levels.

  • Guide and influence decision making - JDE, OneStream, and Business Objects experience desired

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Sound knowledge of US GAAP
