Description We are searching for a Financial Analyst I (Contractor) to join our team based in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. Working within our industry, this role offers a contract to employment opportunity. As a Financial Analyst, you will be central in managing and analyzing financial metrics, processing network payments, and providing support for our Program Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process network payments and accruals

• Conduct detailed financial and operational metrics evaluation to identify risks and opportunities

• Participate in the creation and use of financial models and analysis to support budget and forecast preparations

• Regularly prepare and review financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis

• Conduct research to explain variances to budget and forecast

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and subscriber reporting through preparation and analysis of monthly invoices and accruals

• Contribute to process improvement and standardization projects by identifying risk areas and suggesting improvements

• Review network audits and develop streamlined processes for research, analysis, and tracking in this area

• Respond to ad hoc data analysis and research requests

• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, adapting to variable schedules as necessary. Requirements • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly

• Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed financial reports

• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management

• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving

• Experience in payment processing procedures

• Ability to conduct thorough and insightful financial research

• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting purposes

• Strong review skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

• Experience in managing and maintaining databases

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented communication

• Familiarity with 'About Time' project management software

• Solid understanding of finance principles and financial modeling

• Experience in auditing procedures

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis as required

• Knowledge of closing processes and financial record management

• Understanding of networking principles

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements

• Proficiency in financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

• Experience in preparing and posting journal entries

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in SQL for database management

• Experience in using Oracle for financial management

• Positive attendance record indicating reliability and commitment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites for administrative tasks
