Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Counsel to join our team in Mexico City, with a focus on sales contracts and SaaS products across North America and LATAM. The ideal candidate will have substantial in-house experience, particularly with commercial and SaaS sales contracts, and will be trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including those involving LATAM government and local legal issues. You will be working with a team of two Contract Managers based in Mexico, providing legal advice with a focus on risk management and commercial strategies. A deep understanding of the LATAM market, particularly in the academic, government, and education sectors, is essential. We value team collaboration and seek a personable individual who can work effectively within a diverse team. Although we prefer candidates who can work from the Mexico City office, we are open to remote arrangements.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Lawyer with a Juris Doctor (JD) or Licenciatura en Derecho (Law Degree)

 Significant experience as an in-house lawyer, specifically in sales and commercial contracts

 Experience working with SaaS products and commercial sales in North America & LATAM

 Fluency in both English and Spanish

 Team player Fluency in Portuguese null
