Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Contract Administrator I to be based in Philadelphia, PA.

This position is expected to begin in November 2021.

About DCS/Transportation at AECOM

This position will provide administratively and contract support to several programs administered by AECOM for the freight rail business line in the Philadelphia office. The positions require word processing, correspondence e-mails/letters, initiating correspondence as required, assisting in the preparation of invoices, filing, drafting, and transmitting agreements, distribution of incoming documents, data entry, managing information on client database, and general office duties.

This position requires an organized, detailed-oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills. The position will require some client interaction. Tasks associated with this position will include:

  • Electronic database management

  • Support for project management and project accounting

  • Assist project engineers in the timely handling of various tasks within the contract

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Accounting, Paralegal Studies, History, Economics or related fields

  • Due to the nature of work US Citizenship is required for this position

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Access, Word, and Excel

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Work cooperatively with others

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Experience in the rail industry, real estate industries
