Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do Modernize business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Drive various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Create architecturally significant non-functional requirements to design reusable data ingestion and data management components. Establish data ingestion patterns and design data integration interfaces with internal and external data sources. Drive advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data, to generate insights leveraging various platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention from various data warehouses. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models. Design and implement solutions to extract and reconcile data scattered across multiple sources. • 15% Travel required nationally • Telecommuting permitted • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following: • Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MS) Azure to generate insights leveraging cloud-based, web-based, or on-premise and delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions by utilizing Snowflake; • Performing data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling by utilizing Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM), SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAS Master Data Management (MDM), Teradata Master Data Management (MDM), and Salesforce; • Utilizing Jira, GitHub, and ServiceNow (SNOW) to coordinate and drive aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues; • Providing industry insight and analytical support by using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tool, including Jupyter Notebook, PyCharm, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow and designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets by using Tableau, Microsoft (MS) Power BI, and SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence tool for consolidating the implications to present recommendations to senior management and executives; • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analytics and Data Integration solutions and working with data and project management tools to create custom build objects and maintain Data Governance process, policies, and standards; • Designing and developing data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions, including standardization, transformation, rationalizat on, linking and matching; • Resolving data mapping and data modeling issues using Informatica, SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), and SAS Administration tool and providing insights into businesses using statistical tools and data modeling of relational databases, including Teradata Presto, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL and Hive; and • Developing, testing, and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures using tools including Informatica, SAP BODS, PyCharm, Putty, and RStudio and programing languages including Python, SQL, and R to perform data warehousing and data integration functions.
Other Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
