Description
The Role: The Concessions Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager. They will oversee and support the operational pre-event set-up at all concessions locations, as well as the post event clean-up. They will oversee the execution of all aspects of Legends’ food and beverage program, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to Legends Hospitality standards.Responsibilities:
Closely follow s and fully completes opening and closing c hecklist s provided by M anagement .
Possess es extensive k nowledge of Legends’ food and beverage program.
Assists in the training and management of event day staff to assure compliance with company service and sanitation standards.
Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
Supervise s and work s closely with all concessions staff to ensure that product is properly set and displayed prior to the start of each event.
Assists in c oordinat ing the movement, delivery and pick-ups of necessary equipment and product to and from all concession stands before, during and after events.
Ensure s proper menu items, as well as pricing, are up for display for each event.
Conduct physical audit of inventory and product at concession stands, research and perform reconciliations as needed.
Alert s M anagement and the W arehouse S upervisor of low inventory on any items .
Record s and deliver s the correct amounts of inventory for proper dispersal, ensuring to have ordered the correct amounts of supplies to maintain proper par levels for each location assigned .
Make s sure all concessions inventor y is always organized, locked up and secured .
Assist s with Month End inventory counts and organization .
Develop s the ability to use the FOH POS system and BOH inventory systems including training and problem solving .
Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary .
Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
Must be punctual and dependable
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Must meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage services
Licenses & Certifications:
Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary)
Preferred – SERVSafe and City of Philadelphia Food Safety Personnel Certificate
