Law firm is currently hiring an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal. The office hours are full time Monday through Friday. There is flexibility in the schedule for paralegals. You may choose from several offered schedules that suit you best. This is a full time position that will also provide benefits after the successful completion of a 60 day probationary period. The starting pay is up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Available office schedules are all Monday through Friday. Hours offered are one of the following: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or similar schedule

The ideal applicant will have around 4 years of recent civil litigation experience. Individuals with trial experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Most paralegals support 1-2 attorneys and work as a team with assigned Legal Assistants or a Legal Secretary. The caseload can be heavy and involve document intensive projects. Applicants should know how to perform electronic filing, prepare legal correspondence and be comfortable scheduling all hearings, mediations, and depos when necessary. Applicants must have a willingness and interest in trial work.
Requirements No less than 3 years of Civil Litigation experience Recent employment in relevant area of law Type 45 wpm or greater Advanced understanding of litigation terminology and process Trial experience is preferred but not required BA in Legal Studies is strongly preferred
