DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities Bridge Roadway What you'll be challenged to do:  * Analyzes information and data to perform routine design tasks.  * Receives instructions from Project Manager or Senior Project Engineers as to the general results expected.  * Research design options and document findings.  * Responsible as a member of the design team for accuracy of engineering design and plans, quality presentation, thoroughness and follow-through, and efficient conformance to budgets, schedules, and company standards.  * Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.  * May be asked to participate in non-design engineering activities such as bridge inspection, CADD production, and field data collection.

Qualifications What you bring to our firm:  * Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.  * Candidate preferably (but not required) to be entering their second or third co-op.  * Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.  * Ethics - Treats people with respect; works with integrity and ethically.  * Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.  * Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments.  * Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
