Primary Responsibilities Copy detailed drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs by hand or using computer-aided design software. Structural drafting of all phases of the construction documents, structural drawings on CAD from engineering sketches, and instruction. Procedures for the production of design development and construction documents, a thorough knowledge of structural and roadway planning, drafting, detailing, and building materials. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate or technical school degree or equivalent experience Should have a good working knowledge of Microstation and AutoCAD Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Excel An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture Preferred Qualifications Experience with Civil3D and Open Roads Designer PennDOT, Ohio DOT, WV DOH experience Preference is given to local candidates Why HDR At HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
