Robert Half Business Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of a Business Analyst to join our team within the Legal industry, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in the development, configuration, and support of internal applications. You will be working closely with various departments including investment management, operations, and accounting to drive process improvement and change within the Technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with investment management, operations, and accounting teams to document business and technical requirements, analyze workflows, and identify areas for process improvement.

• Assisting in the management and support of business-line applications.

• Working on creating and maintaining project plans and status reports, ensuring projects are completed within the set timeline and budget.

• Recommending and implementing best practices around data management, process flows, and reporting.

• Establishing strategic partnerships with third-party vendors to ensure business needs are met.

• Coordinating with internal and external development teams on integration and custom solutions requested by the business.

• Providing end-user training on third-party application sets.

• Keeping up-to-date with business systems updates and offerings, attending conferences, seminars, and training sessions as necessary.

• Utilizing skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, and Claim Administration. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, a tool used for bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management.

• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage interactions with potential and current customers.

• Knowledge of database management, design, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and their applications in the legal industry.

• Ability to perform Gap Analysis to identify gaps between optimized allocation and integration of resources and the current allocation level.

• Experience in AB Testing or split testing to compare two different versions of a web page to see which one performs better.

• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies for managing and completing complex projects.

• Knowledge of Business Process Functions, including understanding how different parts of a business work together.

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Document to give a detailed explanation of the functionalities of a product or service.

• Knowledge of Claim Administration, including processing claims in the legal sector. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
