General Job Description: This is engineering related work directing, through subordinate supervisors, a large and diversified building maintenance program for a department comprised of multiple buildings. The employee is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive maintenance plan and for directing all maintenance staff activities through subordinate supervisors.

The Requirements are as follows: 

*1. EDUCATION: *Completion of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university with major course work in engineering, engineering technology, construction management or facilities planning and management.

AND

*2. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: *Four years of engineering or related experience in the design, construction, inspection, renovation or maintenance of buildings.

AND

*3. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE: *Two years of engineering experience, in a supervisory, administrative or project management capacity, involving the construction, renovation and rehabilitation, or maintenance of large, multi-occupancy commercial or public access buildings and their related electrical, mechanical and water distribution systems and equipment.
