Robert Half Budget Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half is on the hunt for a Budget Analyst to become part of our client's workforce. This Budget Analyst role demands managing the company's financial forecasting and budgeting methods. Duties include analyzing financial data, preparing budgetary reporting, and ensuring the fiscal activities of the company align with its vision and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to enhance financial processes and systems.

  • Assist in the orchestration and management of the annual budget, coordinating with department leads and upper management.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor budget performance, identify discrepancies, and suggest corrective measures.

  • Ensure stringent compliance with financial regulations and reporting prerequisites.

  • Contribute to the crafting of grant proposals and funding applications.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid in program planning and assessment.

  • Carry out financial forecasting and risk analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

    Requirements

The ideal Budget Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.

Other requirements for the Budget Analyst role include and are not limited to:

  • 3+ years of experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or a similar role, in a nonprofit organization.

  • Experience with SAGE Intacct preferred

  • Prophix budgeting system experience preferred

  • FQHS (Federally Qualified Health Center) experience would be preferred

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, etc.)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
