BAYADA Home Health Care BAYADA Home Health Aide (HHA) - Pediatrics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

BAYADA-Pediatrics has an IMMEDIATE need for a HHA (Home Health Aide) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to care for a young man at home during the day while his mom is at work. Shifts available Monday through Friday!!!

Male HHA's/CNA's highly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications and what makes you a great candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA)

  • CNA's - current license in good standing in Pennsylvania

  • Nursing Students- completion of Medical-Surgical clinical rotation in nursing school

  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.

  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

What you’ll do:

  • Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services to help children stay safe at home and/or school.

  • Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.

  • Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.

  • Meal preparation and feeding

  • Range of motion/exercises

  • Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
