University of Pennsylvania Associate and Full Professor Faculty Position, Academic Clinician - Nephrology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of advanced CKD and ESKD management, including in-center and home dialysis. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at the Perelman School of Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of high-quality teaching. Applicants should be outstanding educators.

Clinical responsibilities may include ambulatory care and consultative hospital-based care to general nephrology patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and within a large, affiliated dialysis program.

There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
