Acts as the principal designer for major systems and their subsystems, utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms and computing environments. Works closely with client and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code, integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives. Responsible for determining the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solutions. Acts as a lead for portal security configuration for the Digital Technology Solutions group. Manages, maintains, and configures implementation and documentation for externally facing portals. Integrates applications and services into Digital Technology Solutions security architecture and integrates Digital Technology Solutions products into other departments' security architecture. Leads new federation and OAuth (Open Authorization) implementation for product efforts and coordinates with Information Protection for production implementation and occasional troubleshooting. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 3 years of IT experience (or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 5 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: implementing DevOps platforms using YAML & Terraform for automated code and configuration deployment to Identity Management Systems; using JavaScript to implement Actions/Rules in Auth0, Mapping Rules in ISAM to customize Java Web Tokens, and SAML Assertions for SSO; designing single sign-on platforms using SAML and OIDC; architecting, configuration, and customization with Identity Management Platforms such as Auth0, Okta, and ISAM.
