Responsibilities Provide information and documentation to the supervisors/managers. Provide services with respect to complex fund transactions. Ability to follow established accounting guidelines and assist with planning by gathering information. Interact with all levels within the organization and at clients. Demonstrate needed knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards and techniques to complete assignments in a timely manner with supervision. Demonstrate ability to prepare basic financial reports and simple footnote disclosures with supervision. Prepare clear and complete working papers in accordance with Marcum's policies and engagement management directions. Responsive on a timely basis to client questions and requests. Keep current on professional pronouncements Put forthright a diligent effort to pass CPA exam and advance technical knowledge. Proactively participate in professional development opportunities, i.e. Mentoring Program. Act as a representative for Marcum and aids in identifying and recruiting candidates into our firm.
Qualifications BBA/BS/MS in Accounting Eligible to sit for the CPA 1-3 years of relevant experience
