Professional Certification: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and/or 2 years clinical experience in related field and valid ARDMS (copy of current certification to be sent into Chairrsquo;s office). Responsibilities:

  1. Instructs and evaluates studentrsquo;s performance in the laboratory component of the Sonography Program.

  2. Assist students on an individual level when needed.

  3. Counselrsquo;s students on their laboratory progress when needed.

  4. Assists in maintaining student laboratory records.

  5. Enforces rules and regulations of Sonography Program.

  6. Meets regularly with the Clinical Coordinator and/or Program Director to communicate student progress, strengths and weaknesses.

  7. Offers a positive professional attitude toward students and the teaching process.

  8. Offer input on course design, development, revision and implementation.

  9. Direct laboratory/clinical sessions in the performance aspects of the related theory of imaging sciences. Collaborate with other professional personnel for the practical experience phases of training.

  10. Submit final grades to Primary Lab Instructor by due date.

  11. Perform other related duties as required.
