Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst with an amazing organization located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be working closely with various teams, taking on a crucial strategic role that involves financial planning, analysis, and general accounting. Your role will be highly analytical and will require the creation of reports and presentations for various company projects.
50% analytics and analyzing
50% building financial presentations, projects, reporting and general accounting
Responsibilities:
This role will be a big strategy role, diving into reports, problem solving, working with various departments and teams, etc.
• Diving deep into financial reports for problem-solving and analysis
• Creating informative presentations based on your analysis
• Undertaking financial planning and analysis tasks
• Working with intercompany dynamics and maintaining strong reporting
• Engaging in general accounting duties as required
• Collaborating with various teams to resolve problems
• Participating in various company projects
• Using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Being proactive in identifying issues and asking the right questions to solve them
• Embracing opportunities for growth and change within the role.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, as the role involves significant data analysis and manipulation.
• Demonstrated ability in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is essential, as the position requires strategic financial decision making.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make accurate predictions for future outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve financial objectives.
• Proven experience in creating financial reports and conducting detailed market research.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
• Experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial issues.
