The Siemens IT FIN AAE + China team consists of employees across Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East and is part of the global organization of IT Finance. We are overall responsible to develop, implement and continuously improve all relevant financial strategies, concepts, policies and business activities within the Siemens global IT organization. As the Senior Controlling Professional located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be expected to perform the Country Controller role for LCB UAE scope covering Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates for IT services and projects, which includes the commercial topics that are outlined below, but may not be limited to those mentioned.

You will make an impact by:

  • Performing all aspects of yearly financial cycles such as planning, year-end closing, and monthly/quarterly reporting.

  • Analyzing all aspects of the IT process and reporting: services, projects, provider-/receiver-view, productivity, and headcount.

  • Ensuring consistency and accuracy of costs and recovery for IT services and projects.

  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing forecasts and budgets, providing clarifications for relevant deviations.

  • Acting as a trusted business partner to the customer for commercial topics, including providing transparency on IT performance KPIs and value flow.

  • Analyzing the impacts of business unit developments, such as new acquisitions and separations.

  • Aligning and implementing regional IT, global IT, and Business IT strategies.

  • Actively participating in the finance community and seeking process simplification, standardization, and business efficiency, including improvement possibilities and automation.

  • Integrating data between various source systems and maintaining it.

  • Demonstrating highly effective networking, collaboration, and time management skills.

  • Supporting the implementation of KlarIT and various reporting tools.

  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses and data consolidation as required.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Holding a BS/BA in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Having at least 3 years of experience in similar business controlling or finance roles, ideally in a multinational corporate controlling environment.

  • Being highly proficient in MS Office, with a working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and related reporting tools preferred.

  • Possessing strong business communication skills and adaptability to rapid changes.

  • Demonstrating broad knowledge in the field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.

  • Holding full working rights in Malaysia.
