Your Role and Responsibilities

A Demand Strategist is responsible for the design, development and optimization for omni-channel marketing programs associated with demand motions. A Demand Strategist will: Understand business requirements and develop the strategy . |Translate business objectives into world-class marketing experiences with committed outcomes and expected ROI for the business. | Define audience targets and priority markets -- in partnership with other Marketing teams -- to align to a globalization plan. | Outline the required business outcomes and objectives from the Demand Plan to the Marketing discipline teams, providing direction regarding suitable channels for execution. | Utilize end-to-end marketing funnel and business contribution reporting, communicating results with the business and with Marketing disciplines in order to optimize the customer journey. | Own elements of Sales enablement, including response projections. | Own the relationship from a Sales-Qualified Lead to Win conversion

The Experience Engine team owns the planning, execution, and optimization of IBM's brand in order to convert our qualified pipeline into revenue growth. In your role, you will focus on creating demand and converting pipeline in the Japanese market by collaborating with other Japanese based marketing team members in Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur to build the foundation of digital marketing execution.

日本IBM MCC のDemand Strategistとして、特定のソリューション・エリアのデジタル・キャンペーンの企画・実行をクアラルンプールにて実践いただきます。日本のキャンペーン・メンバーや米国のコア・メンバーとも密接に連携しつつ、日本の市場をターゲットとしたメッセージの最適化やタクティックの選択し、獲得したリードを営業と連携することで、案件創出の道筋を形成していきます。

Your primary responsibilities include:

*Adapt and execute IBM's global digital strategy for the Japan market, including owning and optimizing content relevant to Japan

*Measure and report execution of all advanced marketing efforts, benchmarking against key objectives (ROI and KPIs) to optimize user funnels

*Work with digital sales and field sales to so that they can pick up client's interest signals at the right timing to bring up to an opportunity

*Collaborate with external agencies and other vendor partners, in particular paid search and paid media

*Manage geo-specific requirements and/or unique country needs within IBM.com management system

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office is requested at least 4 times a week until the team is comfortable with the work environment. Then it can come down to 3 times per week depending on the role.

  • グローバルのデマンド戦略を踏まえ、日本の市場・お客様向けにコンテンツ、ジャーニー他のローカライゼーションと最適化を検討・実装し、リードを獲得。成熟したリードは営業と連携し案件創出を支援

  • ビジネス目標(ROIとKPI)に対する現状を常に把握し、ギャップに対しデータもしくは仮説をベースにしたPDCAを実施

  • 業務を遂行する上で、各種デジタル・ツール、パフォーマンス・ダッシュボードを駆使すると同時に、広義の日本MCCチームに留まらず、関連部門や海外の同僚、そして外部代理店やその他ベンダー(日本のメディアなど)と協業

  • 日本の市場・お客様固有のニーズや要件をグローバルにフィードバック、場合によってはグローバル視点での最適な戦術の選択や改善に向けた協議も実施



Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience (executing end-to-end marketing programs, measuring and analyzing performance and reporting, conducting data and hypothesis-driven testing and personalization, designing and producing web pages)

  • Strong reading and writing skills in Japanese (native or JLPT N1), including experience writing and editing web/advertising copy in Japanese

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent and autonomous judgment based on data-driven analysis and business priorities

  • Ability to engage appropriate global and other marketing teams according to objectives; project management skills to collaborate and drive toward achievement

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B marketing experience in the IT industry

  • Project management skills

  • Experience in working closely with sales or worked as a sales.

  • Likes challenges where the answer is not readily visible

  • Enjoys bringing something to life, whether that's a campaign or an idea

  • Likes working across teams to get the best outcome
