MaxLinear is seeking a Wireless MAC Systems Engineering team leader to join our team in Israel. For this position, we are open to experienced SW/FW/Silicon engineers as well.
Lead a team of experienced system engineers
Define the MAC hardware, software and test requirements for the cutting-edge Wi-Fi AP products for the home environment
Define MaxLinear’s next generation Wi-Fi (WiFi-7) products
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary agile team of SW, FW, Silicon and QA engineers
Work closely with the program management and marketing teams to define the content of MaxLinear's Wi-Fi products and roadmap
Assist management with effort estimations for new features
Serve as the technical interface to teams outside of the group
Work with multi-site organizations
Assist MaxLinear’s representatives in the IEEE Wi-Fi standard organizations to develop the next WiFi-7 standard
Some international travel may be required
At least 3 years of experience as a team leader
Experience in development of complex, embedded systems
Wi-Fi protocol development experience is an advantage
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Independent and self-motivated
Be collaborative and teamwork minded
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications or related + at least 8 years of experience in communication systems
