IHG F&B Teamleader - Breakfast (Full Time) - InterContinental Perth in Perth, Australia

We are looking for a full time Teamleader (Breakfast) to join our Food and Beverage Team and help us create dining experiences that exceeding our customers’ needs and expectations.

As F&B Teamleader focused on breakfast service you would be responsible for welcoming, seating guests, responding to guest needs promptly; resolving any issues that may arise; serving food and beverages, supervising other F&B Attendants; conducting daily departmental briefings and providing input for regular team meetings. During the breakfast period this role will also supervise room service delivery and then after breakfast will assist in supervising the lunch service in Heno and Rey.

You will also:

  • Enthusiastically demonstrate dedication to delivering True Hospitality (our behaviours) with each guest and colleague interaction.

  • Working with a passion & hands-on approach towards our service standards & team culture, training, onboarding, supervising and inspiring others.

  • Working with and support your colleagues to offer seamless service to our guests.

  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel guests and communicate with Hotel Senior Leadership Team in the event of any serious emergency, security or health & safety matters.

  • Ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage. products/inventory/equipment, and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste.

  • Looking after your outlet – keeping it clean and tidy, clearing glasses, food and other items in a professional manner.


Are you refined, personable, knowledgeable, proactive, meticulous & curious?

The successful Teamleader candidate will need to demonstrate these behaviors every day. Additionally, the successful candidate:

  • be available to work from 5.30am onwards for 5 shifts per week.

  • have at least 1 years’ supervisory / team leader experience (would be advantageous).

  • be approachable and energetic and have a real passion for providing connecting and seamless service to ensure a memorable guest experience.

  • consistently demonstrate a professional standard of personal presentation, fitting of a luxury brand.

  • have ongoing availability to work rostered shifts across 7 days a week starting at 5.30am on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, and

  • meet the legal requirements to work in Australia, with no limitations or visa sponsorship.
