The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Lead to join our KBR team in Perth . In this role, you will support large-scale projects within the defence , transport, and buildings sectors across Australia.

You will be part of the Digital Engineering project delivery team at the design level, playing a key role in leading the quality and timely delivery of design models and overseeing our virtual design review processes.

Who are you?

You are an ideal candidate with hands-on experience using DE/BIM/VDC/CDE software for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise includes federated model management, model-based design coordination and review, 4D construction sequencing, clash detection, and model validation.

As the Digital Engineering Lead , you will:

  • Lead collaboration through federating and sharing Digital Engineering models with project teams.

  • Manage the validation, acceptance, and maintenance of digital information within federated Digital Engineering delivery models across projects.

  • Oversee design reviews for Information Models, including Quality Assurance model checks, clash detection/mitigation, and risk control processes.

  • Facilitate Digital Engineering model-based design coordination and planning design reviews with project teams.

  • Drive projects within an ISO19650-certified environment.

  • Implement digital engineering technical initiatives.

    You will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

  • Australian citizenship ( required for defence projects).

  • Expertise in 3D modelling and coordination software ( Revizto , Navisworks, Solibri , Synchro, Revit, 12d).

  • Ability to manage diverse projects and ensure excellence in deliverables.

  • Experience in implementing and managing clash detection.

  • Understanding of the Asset Information lifecycle management approach.

  • Coordination skills for multi-disciplinary teams, including engineering, architecture, and specialty disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of current industry practices and standards (e.g., ISO19650).
