Basic Job Functions: Responsible for assuring First Solar achieves best in class warehouse operations from a price, service, and performance perspective for all incoming and outgoing shipments. Develops a warehouse strategy for Perrysburg Manufacturing Campus sites to drive a lean, efficient, and optimized warehousing operation, covering BOM, Spares, Consumables and Finished Goods. This includes driving an efficient and effective distribution of parts mentioned above between sites. Manages execution at all Perrysburg internal and external warehouses that support manufacturing sites. To ensure on time and continuous material supply from warehouse to manufacturing. Leading a team of Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Leads, Supervisors, Shipping & Receiving Inventory Controllers and Material Handlers across all PGT sites to ensure department goals are met. Develops the competency of the warehouse operations team in the areas of skills and knowledge to optimize the operations to support all stakeholders in a safe manner. Develops and adheres to warehouse AOP budget. Interfaces with Commodity mgmt., Logistics, Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing teams to ensure effective coordination of operational activities. Responsible for ensuring on time delivery of customer orders. Responsible for accurate work instructions & procedures to meet SOX and including ISO9000, ISO14000requirements. Accountable for all KPI's associated with warehouse operations and related corrective actions for misses. Responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse and inventory control functions; includes FG shipments, goods receipt, inventory control, and material storage/delivery to production. Education/Experience: Four (4) year college degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Transportation or Business-related field. Advanced degree preferred. At least ten (10) years' experience in related managerial, purchasing, materials planning, warehouse, and/or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years' experience in Continuous Improvement. Demonstrated experience in warehouse supplier management, 3PL, YMS and drop lot operations. Experience in managing large volume of spares inventory. Experience working in a high-volume large operation for a large multinational corporation. Demonstrated experience in logistics and warehouse to minimize demand on logistics. Claims related to inventory. Incoming and outgoing. Required Skills/Competencies: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred or similar CI discipline. Knowledge of PFEP and implementation. Negotiations skills. Communication. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (or equivalent). Systems experience with at least one MRP/ERP system. Oracle preferred. Knowledge of warehouse and logistics terms, conditions, providers, including international situations. Understands local customs requirements to operate a warehouse and logistics functions in compliance with local regulations. Possess a deep knowledge of freight markets & contracts, incoterms and carriage of goods rules and regulations. Management of large number of subordinates (above 50). Business fluent in English and Vietnamese language, written & spoken required. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the relationship between internal and external stakeholders to realize and support site wide metrics and strategy. Work with Customs, Purchasing, Manufacturing Product Management, Customer Operations, and customers to understand and document the logistics requirements of each group.
