JOB SUMMARY:
The primary role of the Product Specialist is to support Cat’s Global Paving Product Sales and Product Support in Ohio Cat’s Territory. This role will support field sales efforts, advise and consult customers and sales reps, promote the winter paver rebuild program, and collaborate with other departments to implement advertising, promotion, and business plans.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and some college is preferred.
Must have three years of customer service experience and two years of related sales experience.
A background in accounting, invoicing, financing, heavy equipment, or equipment rental is required and beneficial.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Must possess good computer, Microsoft applications, verbal, and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Must be highly energetic, outgoing, and able to handle multiple projects at a time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. A moderate amount of travel within your region to support the sales team. This position will require work in various weather conditions and exposure to internal and external environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
