Expected Length of Internship: 3 to 6 months As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn't interfere with the essential functions of the position. Education/Experience: Currently pursuing bachelor's in business administration and/or Human Resources First Solar encourages all interns to register their internship with their university. Required Skills/Competencies: Strong communication skills with a sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients across First Solar locations Strong analytical skills to analyze vast quantities of data to generate monthly reports within HR operations, Global Mobility and Immigration processes Competency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentation preparation, with a willingness to learn and utilize specific HRIS software and tools. Basic Internship Scope (Project): Intern will work with Sr. Program Manager to manage assignments, immigration, and relocations to Americas and APAC region. Help draft assignment and related support documents for mobility services When requested and required, collaborate with internal teams such as Local Payroll, Local HR partner to gather data and create reports to ensure accurate payroll and/or Compliance reporting Collaborate with Sr. Manager and Immigration firm to facilitate the procurement and maintenance of work visas Provide support in advising employees on policy and processes as needed Support the team in daily duties and special projects as needed. Upon the completion of this internship, the intern is required to present their accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team.
